Please don't fret about these numbers! My dresses are very 'fit-friendly'. They are designed to fit you instead of you having to fit into them. You can go on a diet if you like but you will not have to lose weight. Your dress will most likely fit and look fabulous even after your change in weight! So let these numbers be exactly what they are - simply information.
Your measurements and photos will give me the complete picture of your size and shape. Once I have these, chatting on the phone with you about what you are envisioning, your likes and dislikes and your cares and concerns will help me create a dress for you that will have you looking and feeling like a tropical goddess. Remember, you are beautiful exactly as you are! Happy Measuring,

ESSENTIAL MEASUREMENTS
A. Shoulders
This is the hardest to do yourself so get someone to help you. Place the measuring tape at the edge of one shoulder and wrap it all the way around yourself like a shawl until it meets back at the same shoulder. Make sure the tape is level. The tape should skim the top of your shoulders so closely it almost slips off. This is the widest circumference of your shoulders.
B. Bust
Wearing a bra, measure the circumference of your bust at the largest point, keeping the measuring tape level from front to back. Keep the tape measure snug but make sure not to change the shape of your breasts.
Bra & Cup Size
C. Waist
Standing up straight but not sucking your stomach in, measure the circumference of the smallest part of your waist just above your belly button. Keep the measure tape snug but not tight and level.
D. Hips
Measure the circumference of the widest part of your hips and bottom. Keep the measure tape level and snug but not tight.
E. Height
Weight
Please upload a full length photo of yourself; front, back and side views. (Nothing fancy. Take it with your phone camera.)
ADDITIONAL MEASUREMENTS
F. Inseam
This is the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh to the bottom of your ankle. You'll need help with this one. While you're wearing a pair of pants, have a friend stretch the tape from your crotch to 1 inch above the floor.
G. Crotch
Place the measuring tape at the back of your waist where you want the waist of your pants to sit, bring the tape between your legs and up to the front of your waist where you want the waist of your pants to sit. With this measurement you don't want the tape to be snug. Loosen it up just a tad so that your pants will fit well but not uncomfortably.
H. Length
Start at the center front of your neck and measure down to your ankle.
I. Armhole for Dress for Venus
Start at the center front of your neck and bring the tape diagonally across your chest to your center underarm.
J. Armhole for Juno's Robe
Start at the center back of your neck, bring tape around the front of your shoulder and wrap it down to your center underarm.
K. V-Neck for Juno's Robe
Start at center back of your neck and bring the tape around your neck and down to where you want your V-neck to finish.
L. Armhole 1 for Hippolyta's Shift
Start at the top of your shoulder bringing tape diagonally down to your center underarm.
M. Armhole 2 for Hippolyta's Shift
Bring tape diagonally across your chest down to your other center underarm.
N. Front Chest
Measure from the center front of your neck down to where you want your v-neck to finish.
O. Sleeve length
Get help for this one because it's hard to do yourself. Place your hand at your waist (your elbow should be bent at a 90-degree angle). Then start at the center back of your neck and measure to your shoulder, down your arm to the elbow, and then on to the wrist.
P. Thighs
Stand with your feet at hip width distance apart. Measure the circumference of both thighs midway between the bottom of your buttock and your knee.
